Needs fixing: sideways/upside-down pages

Fixed: consistent, readable orientation
Common Pain Points
After scanning, converting photos to PDF, or merging documents from different sources, page orientation often becomes inconsistent: hard to read, skewed prints, and rework before archiving. The system automatically detects orientation page by page: corrects when confident, keeps original and marks when uncertain, then exports in one click.
Mixed orientations in scans
Within one PDF, some pages are upside down and others are sideways; rotating screens repeatedly is painful.
Printing / submission / archiving requirements
Discovering wrong orientation right before submission means tedious page-by-page fixes and easy-to-miss pages.
Only some pages need fixing
A single global rotation doesn't help; per-page detection works better for mixed-orientation scans.
Sensitive documents must stay local
Contracts, invoices, and IDs require privacy: everything runs locally in the browser with no server uploads.
Tip: Supports per-page correction for 0/90/180/270. Uncertain pages are marked as "Skipped"; fine-tune with Rotate Left/Right 90° before exporting.
Core Features
Per-page auto correction
Automatically detects and corrects each PDF page; ideal when only some pages are rotated.
Skip when uncertain
If a page can't be determined or confidence is low, keep its original orientation and mark it as "Skipped" to avoid wrong corrections.
Local processing for privacy
All processing happens locally in your browser — better for sensitive documents like contracts and invoices.
Side-by-side live preview
Source pages on the left, corrected results on the right; progress is clear at a glance.
Manual fine-tuning
Rotate a single page left/right by 90° when manual confirmation is needed, then export together.
Write rotation into the PDF
Export writes rotation into each page so the corrected orientation stays in any PDF viewer — not just in preview.
How to Use
Upload or drag a PDF
Drag and drop or select one PDF file to enter the workbench (currently single-file only).
Auto detect and correct page by page
The system detects text orientation per page and generates previews in real time; uncertain pages keep their original orientation and are marked as "Skipped".
Review and fine-tune
Check the previews. Rotate a specific page left/right by 90° if manual adjustment is needed.
Export corrected PDF
After all pages are processed, click Export to download the corrected PDF.
FAQ
Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. All parsing, detection, and exporting happens locally in your browser.
Why are some pages marked as "Skipped"?
- If the model can't determine orientation or confidence is low, the page is kept as-is and marked as "Skipped" to avoid wrong corrections. You can rotate that page manually before exporting.
What rotation angles are supported?
- Supports 0/90/180/270 degree corrections only. Mirroring/flip is not supported.
Can I upload multiple PDFs at once?
- Currently only one PDF file is supported. Batch support may come in future iterations.
Will the corrected orientation stay after exporting?
- Yes. Export writes rotation into each PDF page so it stays consistent in any viewer.
How do I fix only certain pages?
- This tool processes and exports the whole file. If you only need some pages, use "Split PDF" to extract the target pages first, then correct them.
Do you support encrypted PDFs?
- Not yet. Please decrypt the PDF locally before importing.
Can it work offline?
- Yes. After the model is loaded once, it can keep working offline depending on browser caching.
